The Anti-bullying Partnership
Warwickshire’s Anti-bullying Partnership is a group of organisations who are working together to tackle bullying in Warwickshire. On this page you can find out about what we are doing and how you can get involved.
The group was formed in 2003 and involves a wide range of organisations who work with and for children, young people and families. In 2007 the group reviewed its structure and terms of reference. We want to open the group up to more people, so that anyone who is interested in anti-bullying work can get involved. Now, as well as organisations, we have members who are young people, parents/carers and other community members.
The Anti-bullying Partnership is responsible for making sure the Anti-Bullying Strategy is put into practice, for example consulting with children, young people and families to see what needs to be done, helping schools and other agencies improve their practice, making sure children, young people and families know about services that can help them to deal with bullying situations. We do not usually get involved in individual casework but we are looking at how we can improve the support individuals get.
