What we do
ITS Unit provides interpreting and translation services for
- non-English speaking County Council service users
- other external organisations and partner agencies in the public sector. This is subject to available staff resources and a charge will be made depending on the nature of the work. For details of charges please contact the ITS Manager
Why there is a need
Warwickshire has a population of 505,885 (2001 Census). Approximately 5% of the population of Warwickshire belongs to ethnic minority groups.

Demand for interpreting and translation services has increased, and new languages are being provided by ITS to meet the changing demands. The Unit now provides services in over 150 different languages and dialects from all over the world.
