Our Publication Scheme User Guide sets outs the type of information we provide under the following headings:

The majority of this information is available through our website and you can find direct links in our User Guide.  We have stated how you can access the information where this is not available online. Internet access is provided in our customer service points (one-stop shops) and at Warwickshire Libraries, if you do not have access.

The information can also be made available in large print, audiotape and may be translated on request.

If you cannot find the information that you think should be made routinely available on the website, please contact us and explain what information you are looking for, via the Customer Service Centre on 01926 410410, or the web contact, or the service contacts stated on the relevant webpage.

Formal requests for information can be made online, by email or by post to the Freedom of Information Officer.

Charges for copying and information provided
We make a wide range of information available at no cost through our website. More substantial printed publications are charged for and these are clearly indicated. Where information is printed or copied to meet an enquiry, we reserve the right to make a reasonable copying charge. A full list of charges can be found in our Access to Information policy - currently this is 10p per page for black and white, 50p for colour, plus postage.

There are specific charges for Education records and som environmental information.

The County Record Office have a separate charging schedule that sets out the charges in relation to their services.     

The Warwickshire Observatory may charge for commercial research and information.

There is a charge for some non-statutory publications and these are clearly indicated on the website, for example our Countryside Publications such as walks, cycling, maps and other guides.

 
What is a Publication Scheme?
A publication scheme is a description of the information that a public authority routinely makes available. Public authorities must adopt the model publication scheme produced by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. 

Warwickshire County Council has adopted the Model Publication Scheme and the Definition Document for County Councils

Responsibility for the Publication Scheme
The Strategic Director of Resources has overall responsibility for the Publication Scheme and our compliance with the Freedom of Information Act as Monitoring Officer.
