Pathfinder Driving School for 15 and 16 year olds

Gain the essential driving skills and knowledge to kick-start your driving career.

At Pathfinder you will acquire practical driving skills, learning to control and manoeuvre your car accompanied by someone you know. Throughout the programme, you, and your associate, will receive guidance and support from a dedicated team of experienced driving instructors in a controlled and realistic environment, as well as an introduction to advanced driving theory, vehicle maintenance and safe vehicle control.

By the end of your 5 day course you’ll have a real knowledge of the risks, dangers and responsibilities that come with driving and taken a first step towards passing your test.

The Pathfinder Driving School is run by U17 Drivers Pathfinder Limited, an educational trust formed by the custodians of the Under 17 Car Club. The Club has taught more than 3,000 11-16 year-olds to drive over the last 30 years, including the late Richard Burns (2001 World Rally Champion).

Pathfinder is supported by the AA Driving School.

Dates:
You attend on 5 days. These are either 24 October or 25 October (there is a split first day), 26 October to 28 October and 31 October.

Course fee: £100

Location: Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry (24/25 October and 31 October)
Long Marston Airfield, near Stratford Upon Avon (26 to 28 October)
