| The County Council is developing ways to work more closely with local residents to find out what’s important to them in their local area. As part of this we have been working with partners to develop a vision for Locality Working. ‘Locality working’’ is about improving and simplifying the way we and other partners, who provide public services, work. These partners include district and borough councils, police, local health services and local community groups. How is this being done? Countywide we have set up 30 community forums, each one serving the needs of its ‘locality’. At community forums local people have the chance to discuss what's important to them in their community with their local councillors and organisations that provide public services. What does this mean to you? In Stratford-on-Avon district we have set up 6 community forums. These are open public meetings that take place 4 times a year at a variety of community venues in your area, usually on a weekday evening. For more information about what's happened in the past and what's coming up in the future please use the following links. Future Meetings and Past Meetings
