Warwickshire, Solihull and Coventry
Local Access Forum
Warwickshire County Council, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Coventry City Council
The Local Access Forum (LAF) exists to advise the Appointing Authorities and other organisations on the improvement of public access to the countryside and public rights of way – both rural and urban – for the purpose of open-air recreation and enjoyment of the area.

The Warwickshire, Solihull and Coventry Local Access Forum

In 2002 the three authorities agreed to set up a joint Local Access Forum, or 'LAF', in response to a new duty introduced by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. The membership of the LAF includes a Councillor from each of the three authorities, as well as individuals representing various interests from across the three authority areas.

The first meeting of the LAF was held on 20 April 2003.
