Area Committee Meetings What does an Area Committee do? it has responsibility for making some decisions and recommendations about County Council services in your area provides a local view on big issues affecting the County helps to monitor how well the County Council is performing locally takes decisions on some grants to local organisations provides an opportunity for local people to be involved Rugby Area Committee The Rugby Area Committee serves the whole borough of Rugby. It meets every 2 months and includes "public question time" - where you can ask questions or raise concerns about County Council issues.
