Consultation Learning
Background to Consultation

Consultation is two-way communication. It's about involving people to gain an understanding of their ideas, views, concerns and opinions. By acting on the results we can ensure the development of policy, service design and service improvement, reflects their needs and aspirations.

Consultation and Engagement Strategy
Warwickshire County Council first developed a Consultation Strategy in 2001, which was updated in 2003.

The Strategy was reviewed again in 2008 and is the first to incorporate community engagement aswell as consultation.
