The Local Access Forum (LAF) exists to advise the Appointing Authorities and other organisations on the improvement of public access to the countryside and public rights of way – both rural and urban – for the purpose of open-air recreation and enjoyment of the area.

Forum meetings are open to the public, and copies of the papers will be available on the day. There is a slot for public questions at the beginning of the meeting. You do not need to let anyone know that you will be coming, although it is helpful if we know in advance if you intend to ask a question.
