Healthy Living
It is important to stay healthy to enable us to do the things we want to do. To achieve this we need to eat healthily and take regular exercise. Many schools now realise the need for students to take regular exercise and to eat more healthy food.
‘The Warwickshire Healthy Schools Programme’ addresses the issue of achieving more healthy lifestyles. Many Warwickshire schools are now taking part in this programme which aims to encourage students to adopt a more healthy way of living, including exercising at school and healthier meals options.
Schools taking part in this programme can work towards achieving awards. Taking part also helps schools achieve Eco-Schools awards, which can therefore help them become 'Sustainable Schools' |

When children eat breakfast regularly, they perform better both physically and mentally. It's all down to energy levels. It's not because the lessons are dull or the children are not interested - they simply run out of steam and so can't concentrate through the morning.
