Heart of England Way - Alcester to Henley-in-Arden


Considered the prettiest part of the Heart of England Way, ending with traditional ice cream in Henley-in-Arden. The third of four consecutive linear walks along the Heart of England Way - you are welcome to join one or all of the walks!

Start: 10.00 am Bull Yard, Alcester (B49 5AE).
Walk Pace: Moderate
Duration: 8.5 miles, 5 hours 30 minutes
Cost: Free (may be small fee if transport is required)

Three Parishes Walk - Ansley, Arley & Over Whitacre


A walk that takes us through the gently undulating countryside of three North Warwickshire Parishes in the old Forest of Arden, now mostly farmland.

Start: 10.00 am Ansley Parish Church car park, Church End.
Walk Pace: Moderate
Duration: 7.5 miles, Up to 4 hours

Walk over ex-mining land with wonderful views towards Arbury. Pass a settling lake with ducks and swans.

Easenhall and Harborough Magna Circular


A circular walk taking in the villages of Easenhall and Harborough Magna, accompanied by a commentary on the historical features and background to the area.

Start: 2.00 pm Church Lawford Village Hall
Walk Pace: Moderate
Duration: 6 miles, 3 hours
Cost: Voluntary donation to Village Hall Rebuilding Fund.

Wise Walk at Priory Park


A walk to explore historic parkland in the middle of Warwick with rare and beautiful trees. We will find out which trees link to the history of famous Royal gardener and owner of Priory House, Henry Wise.

From Stratford's famous Gower Memorial, via the canal path, onto the Welcombe Hills and on up to the obelisk, Stratford's highets monument.
