We are open Monday to Friday all year round with the exception of Bank Holidays and two weeks closure at Christmas. We run lots of activities for children under four years of age and their parents. There are 10 Butterfly play sessions a week, seven Stay 'n' Play sessions with one play session a week reserved for babies under 11 months and another specifically for childminders and their children. We also have a reference library and provide a Breakfast Club and an After School Club. We also have various short courses running at the centre. Please contact the Centre for up-to-date children's sessions or course information.
There is a small charge for these sessions but tea and coffee facilities are available enabling parents to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Please contact the centre for up-to date course information.
Childcare Facilities:
The Children's Centre is now able to provide full daycare for babies aged between 0-2 years of age from 8am until 6pm. The cost for this service is £2.75 per hour or £25 per day.
Wrap Around Care is available throughout the Summer Holidays at the Children's Centre. The Centre will also be offering activities for children aged 0-4 years from Monday 28th July until Friday 22nd August 2008.
