The Building Memories competition has now reached a conclusion.
The winning entry was created by members of Warmington Heritage Group who produced two panels relating to Grove Farm, an early 18th century farmhouse in Warmington.
It has been professionally redesigned and will be displayed at the Shakespeare Birthplace Records Office and later Warwickshire County Record Office; it will also tour libraries around the county. Keep checking this page for details of where the exhibition will appear next.
Elizabeth Lady Hamilton presented prizes to the winning contestants at a ceremony held at the Wolfson Hall, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Stratford-upon-Avon on 15th March. As well as the professionally designed panels the prizes included free entry to all the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust sites and a free guided tour of the Lord Leycester Hospital.
The two runners up were also announced. These were Stratford Library by Norma Hampson and Verity Al-Daftary and the Regent Hotel, Leamington Spa by Daphne Sidey and others from the University of the 3rd Age, Warwick.
