The Local Access Forum (LAF) exists to advise the Appointing Authorities and other organisations on the improvement of public access to the countryside and public rights of way – both rural and urban – for the purpose of open-air recreation and enjoyment of the area.

Meetings of the Forum are open to the public, and time is allowed for Public Questions. For more information, please contact the Forum Secretary.


The next meeting of the Forum will be held at 7pm on 12 February 2009 in Coventry.

The Forum met on on Thursday 6 November in Meriden.
