Decriminalisation of Parking Enforcement (DPE) in
Stratford on Avon District
Proposed Amendments to the Traffic Regulation Order |
Following the introduction of decriminalised parking enforcement in the Stratford on Avon District area, Warwickshire County Council received a number of requests for alterations to waiting restrictions and residents parking schemes.
As a result the Council are proposing to make the 'District of Stratford on Avon (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Variation No. 2) Order 2006 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Order, as described in the Notice. |
| Proposed Amendments to Stratford on Avon Residents Parking Scheme
It is proposed to make changes to the existing Residents Parking Scheme in Stratford upon Avon to create four zones which would be in operation between the hours of 8.00 am and 10.00 pm Mondays to Saturdays (with the exception of Great William Street, John Street, Mansell Street, Mulberry Street, Payton Street, Scholars Lane, Shakespeare Street and Tyler Street which would be in operation between the hours of 8.00 am to 10.00 pm daily).

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of the Orders to be varied, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick and Stratford on Avon District Council, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford upon Avon, during normal office hours; and at the Public Libraries in Henley Street, Stratford upon Avon; Guild Hall, High Street, Henley in Arden; and High Street, Southam, during library opening hours. |

| Objections
Objections to the proposals, which must be in writing and specify the grounds on which they are made, must be sent to so as to be received by D G Carter, the Strategic Director of Performance and Development, Shire Hall, Warwick, by 3 February 2006.
