Work on the Warwickshire LAA started in February 2006 and culminated in the endorsement of the first LAA by all partners before final approval by Ministers on 29th March 2007.

Implementation of the first Warwickshire LAA started on 1st April 2007.

The Warwickshire LAA was underpinned by the following vision: ''Listening to Warwickshire, Narrowing the Gap and improving Access to Services.''

Delivery of the targets contained in the Agreement fall within the following six blocks:
  • Children and Young People
  • Safer Communities
  • Stronger Communities
  • Healthier Communities and Older People
  • Economic Development and Enterprise
  • Climate Change and Environment.

Through action in these six key areas the Warwickshire LAA aimed to address the following cross cutting issues during the delivery stages of the LAA:

  • Voluntary and Community Sector capacity
  • Culture Sport and Active Recreation
  • Equalities and Cohesion and Sustainability.
