Warwickshire is covered by the modern diocese of Birmingham diocese and Coventry. The data from all the apportionments we have now appears as a searchable database on our website. The data was entered by our volunteers over a three year period with the project being completed in October 2008. If a parish is not shown on the database it means that we do not have an apportionment for that area.
The schedules that comprise this database refer to titheable land only, and are not a complete record of all land, owners and occupants in Warwickshire. Some areas enjoy better coverage than others, in particular areas that were enclosed prior to 1836 are not covered since the occupants did not pay tithes. |  |
