Warwickshire Against Prejudice Event
A year has gone past since we last celebrated the achievement of schools in addressing issues of prejudice and racism in a positive and constructive manner. The School Race Equality Awards were introduced in 2003 to publicly recognise the progress schools have made in implementing their Race Equality Policies.
The aims of the event are to:
- recognise and celebrate the work of Warwickshire schools in embedding Race Equality through the presentation of the new School Race Equality Awards,
- remind ourselves why we must continue to tackle racial harassment and proactively celebrate cultural diversity,
- explore the themes of identity and global citizenship.
