| Corporate Governance Code of Conduct |
| This Corporate Governance Code of Conduct applies to the Council’s elected members and officers. It describes how the Council makes sure it does the right things, in the right way, for the right people. The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE) recommend that every Council has a local Corporate Governance Code of Conduct to ensure that it is accountable for the proper conduct of public business and that it reviews the effectiveness of it's arrangements. |
