Arts, Health and Wellbeing

There is increasing recognition that people’s health and wellbeing is influenced by a range of interconnecting factors; not just physical, but also psychological and social.

Warwickshire County Arts Service believes that the arts have an important part to play in improving the health and wellbeing of people in many ways, and has a strong track record in delivering arts and health programmes.

On 20th July 2010 the County Arts Service and Cultural Consortium gave a presentation on Warwickshire's approach to arts and health: moving from a direct delivery to strategic, commissioning focussed model at the National Association for Local Government Arts Officer's Arts Health and Wellbeing seminar in Bolton.
