Tanworth-in-Arden is a small pictureque village set deep within where the Forest of Arden used to be.
This legendary forest covered an area extending from south of Solihull across Coventry and Birmingham but was cleared during the industrial revolution.

Places of interest
The village has an idyllic little green onto which face the village pub, The Bell Inn, and the St Mary of Magdalene church.
The 14th century St Mary of Magdalene church is well worth a visit and interestingly contains the gravestone of folk icon Nick Drake, brother of Gabriel Drake, who became a cult figure after his death.
