Warwickshire is world famous for Shakespeare and even has the identity of 'Shakespeare's County'. However the county's literary heritage is much more than that and some of England's greatest writers also have roots in this area. |

Susan Hubbard, a resident of Warwick, has written about five other literary giants and their local connections to the county.
Susan, who has a degree in Literary and Cultural Studies from the Univeristy of Warwick, has delved into the histories of the classic novelists Austen, Eliot and Gaskell. The book further covers more recent writers; the 20th century poet Philip Larkin and the ever-popular Tolkien.
