do you require legal assistance?
Warwickshire Library and Information Service can help you find a legal service for your particular need - for example, a solicitor who deals with consumer enquiries.
Each library has a copy of the Community Legal Service Directory and a series of leaflets on topics such as debt, employment and personal injury. | | |
All the libraries in Warwickshire have the CLS Information Quality mark and provide basic information on rights and responsibilities, and where to go for further advice.
more about the Community Legal Service
As part of its drive to increase justice for ordinary people the Government set up the Community Legal Service (CLS) The idea is for people to find help easily and feel confident in the quality of service they get from legal service providers.
The Community Legal Service brings together organisations offering legal and advice services into local networks. These include solicitors, Citizens Advice Bureaux, Law Centres, libraries and other organisations.
Everyone who provides help or advice within the CLS has to be approved by the Legal Service Commission and are awarded a quality mark standard depending on the range of services that they provide.
