Welcome to the Local Authority Race Equality website. Race equality is an important priority for education. You will find practical examples of what the Local Authority and schools are doing to meet their responsibilities under the Race Relations Amendment Act (2000).

There is also information about community events celebrating diversity. Whether you're looking up information on the Local Authority or planning your social diary with the events guide we want to make sure that you go away with the information you were looking for.

For any further information contact Shearon Williams, Race, Equality and Diversity Officer (Schools) on 01926 742358 or e-mail
