 | St Gregory's Church - Sun shines on the late medieval grey ashlar tower
Offa, King of the Mercians, had a medieval church here before St Gregory's was built (the name Offchurch comes from "Offa's Church").
It is reputed that the remains of a stone coffin found under the porch of the present St Gregory's Church, built in 1115, are the remains of King Offa's coffin.
St Gregory's is next door to the Offa House Retreat Centre
