Supported Living

A social worker or occupational therapist will usually assess your needs. We will try to help you live at home as independently as possible through supported living services appropriate to your needs. If this cannot be achieved we will try to support you in a specialist-staffed setting.

Friends
Education/Employment/Training
We recognise that people with learning disabilities have the right to choice; equal opportunities in employment; and material, personal and social benefits of having a job and further information is available on our Finding a Job page.

Short Breaks
Information about short stays in staffed settings, or other services, to provide a break for users and carers can be obtained from our Adult Services Teams.

Alternatively, for information regarding private or voluntary care please contact The Care Quality Commission (CQC) Service Directory and search on Learning Disabilities for details
or contact the The Rowan Organisation and search on Information Services for contact details.

Community Support - Independent Living Skills
We aim to promote independence for adults who have a learning disability by providing a range of day services.

Warwickshire Learning Disability Partnership Board
The Warwickshire Learning Disability Partnership Board was set up to make sure we work with people with learning disabilities to improve services and give clearer information.
