This Better Care, Higher Standards local Charter is for anyone aged 18 or over who has difficulties associated with old age, long term illness or disability and for carers who support people in these circumstances.

The Charter provides information about what can be expected from Health; Housing; and Adult Social Care (previously Social Services); sets standards for the services and identifies what to do if expectations are not met.
