Dear Sir,
I have today seen in the Coventry Standard that Mr. Pridmore has advertised the three farms at Astley to be let and Grubb informed me this morning that Mr. Kydd has desired him to shut up the saw shed this evening without mentioning the matter to me- These things and the way in which you have acted during the last six months in matters connected with the working of the Estate make it impossible for me to continue the agency with benefit to you or credit to myself- I therefore beg respectfully to resign it and will continue to do every-thing I can to prevent inconvenience until you have appointed some one to take my place- The rent day is on Thursday next- I will receive the rents as usual, if you wish it, but I must beg to be excused from attending the dinner, as I should appear there in a false position and under the circumstances it would be painful to all parties-
I am Dear Sir
Your obedient and faithful servant
Isaac P. Evans
