Stratford District Council introduced a new collection service in August 2008. The aim of the scheme is to encourage more people to use their recycling service to cut the amount of recyclable waste sent to landfill.

| Dry Recycling
Residents can now make use of an extended dry recycling service including cardboard and plastic bottles, which will be collected in grey wheeled bins with blue lids.
General Waste
General waste will be collected in a grey bin with a grey lid.

Garden Waste
Garden waste will continue to be collected in the green bin.
Please note: Stratford District Council are suspending the garden waste collection service for the months of November 2008, December 2008, January 2009, February 2009 and March 2009.
Whilst the service is suspended you can continue to take your garden waste in a car to any of Warwickshire's household waste recycling centres, alternatively you may wish to take the opportunity to try home composting.
