Race Equality - Tackling Harrassment
The McPherson report into the death of Stephen Lawerence recommended that all public authorities tackle racial harassment in order to provide a safe and inclusive working environment. This section enables schools to report incidents of racial or religious harassment over a secure connection.
You may find some useful advice and contact information in the links below.
Reporting Racial and Religious Harassment in Schools
All incidents of racial or religious harassment in Warwickshire schools should be reported to the Race, Equality and Diversity Officer (Schools), Children, Young People & Families Directorate, Saltisford Office Park, Ansell Way, Warwick, CV34 4UL. Information can also be emailed to racialequality@warwickshire.gov.uk. In both cases information will be treated in confidence.
Further information on reporting racial and religious incidents, as well as race equality guidance for schools, can be found on the
Policy Guidance for Schools
page.
Reporting Racial and Religious Harassment to the police authority
