Consultation The Partnership Survey 2009 The Partnership Place Survey for Warwickshire 2009/10 was conducted in Winter 2009, and provides updates on information measured in the 2008 Place Survey, including the results for 18 of the National Indicators. Questions include satisfaction with the area as a place to live, anti-social behaviour, satisfaction with public services and what most needs improving in the local area. The consultation was distributed to households across the whole of Warwickshire, with 3,600 questionnaires being sent out in each Borough / District; a total of 18,000 questionnaires. Unlike the Place Survey, a single questionnaire was distributed, with no reminder mailings. In total, 3,034 completed responses were received within the deadline, a response rate of 17%. The results have been weighted by the respondents’ age, gender and ethnic group, as well as their District, to ensure the dataset is comparable with the 2008 Place Survey. Partnership Survey 2009 - Key Findings The Place Survey 2008 The Place Survey was undertaken from 29th September to 19th December 2008. Place Survey Guidance (PDF 275KB) Place Survey Core Questions (PDF 181KB) A short briefing note (PDF 269) summarising the National Indicator Scores for Warwickshire from the Place Survey has been produced. These scores are an amalgamation of the survey results from the five Boroughs and Districts within the County. The scores have been weighted and audited by the Audit Commission, and verified by the Warwickshire Observatory. The note includes results at a District level. The Warwickshire Public Satisfaction Survey 2007 The Local Area Agreement (LAA) contains a range of qualitative measures that can only be collected by large scale surveys. In order to produce baseline data for themandatory LAA indicators, several questions were included in the most recent version of Warwickshire County Council’s Public Satisfaction Survey. However, there were several measures that did not have baseline data or no recognised, consistent and robust mechanism for collecting the information on an annual basis. Therefore is was decided (by all Partners) to undertake a survey in May 2007 to gather baseline data to fill the gaps. The survey was posted to 12,000 randomly selected Warwickshire residents with a response rate of 23%. The data was weighted accoringly to make it representative of the general population.
