Minerals Development Forum

Warwickshire County Council have set up a Minerals Development Forum to discuss issues related to minerals planning issues in Warwickshire and guide the Minerals Development Framework (MDF) through the planning policy process. The forum group (PDF - 47 KB) aims to represent a variety of stakeholder interests.


Revised Spatial Options Meeting: 19th March 2009

The Minerals Development Forum Meeting took place on 19th March 2009 at Wedgnock House, Warwick from 10:00 until 13:00. Agenda 19/03/2009 (PDF - 51 KB)

The forum members were informed of progress on the Minerals Development Framework since the last forum. 3 brief presentations were delivered to inform the discussion on the issues and options in the break out sessions:

Preferred Options Meeting: 16th February 2007

The Minerals Development Forum Meeting took place on 16 February 2007 at Manor Hall, Leamington Spa from 10:00 until 13:00. The forum group discussed the third stage of preparation for the MDF Core Strategy, the Preferred Options stage.

Issues and Options Meeting: 11th August 2006

The Minerals Development Forum group met at Manor Hall in Leamington to discuss the latest stage of preparation for the MDF: Core Strategy, the Issues and Options Paper (PDF - 1.7 MB)

The group discussed the issues and options for each of the key issues within the document.

Second Preliminary Meeting: 28th April 2006

The second meeting of the Minerals Development Forum was held on 28th April at Manor Hall in Leamington. The Forum was split into 3 groups to discuss the issues highlighted in the presentations and others of concern to them.

First Preliminary Meeting: 24th March 2006

The first meeting of the Minerals Development Forum was held on 15th February at Manor Hall in Leamington.

The forum was split into 3 groups for breakout sessions. The following questions were discussed, What should the Minerals Development Forum achieve? and What Issues should the Minerals Development Forum address?
