| I was not the driver | |

It is the responsibility of the registered keeper of the vehicle to inform the Central Ticket Office of the details of the person who was driving at the time of the alleged offence. A new Notice of Intended Prosecution will then be issued to the nominated driver.

If the nominated person accepts they were the driving the vehicle they will then be sent a Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty Notice.

If however the person denies responsibility, the form will be returned to you. As the registered keeper of the vehicle you will be held responsible unless you can identify the driver. Failure to identify the driver is an offence and could result in you being prosecuted.
