| More than 3,000 people enjoyed top cycling action and a great family day out at the Warwick Cycle Races. As well as plenty of family fun, crowds were treated to a packed day of top class cycling on the closed road circuit in Warwick town centre, with the action ranging from elite men and women’s races, through to unicycle and tricycle events. The men’s Elite Race came as the finale of the day, with recent Tour of Ireland winner Russell Downing, and Olympic medallists Ed Clancy and Rob Hayles all taking part. And the racing through the tight and winding streets of Warwick was a close thing with Ian Wilkinson (Halfords Bike Hut) winning Sunday’s round of the Elite Men’s Circuit Race Series. | Related Links Warwick Cycle Races British Cycling | |
