- Procedures relating to Safeguarding Trafficked Children - Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board has developed new procedures relating to Safeguarding Trafficked Children. These will be included in the WSCB Interagency Child Protection Procedures when the next version is produced (date to be determined by the Board). In the meantime, these new procedures are being made available to guide professionals in this important area of work. The new procedures are accompanied by a document produced by the West Midlands Child Trafficking Group, which provides valuable background information. This is a useful additional resource for practitioners, which includes contact details of organisations that may be able to provide assistance.
- WSCB Statement on Restraint The purpose of the statment is to provide a set of unifying principles governing the use of physical intervention and restraint by staff in partner agencies, coming into contact with children and young people who exhibit challenging behaviour, aggression or violence that could jeopardise their own or another’s safety.
