Fair Processing (Data Protection Act)

The suggested texts for the pupil Fair Processing Notice have been revised to cater for the changes in departmental organisation and also for the terms of data sharing with ContactPoint. ContactPoint is a directory that will help people who work with children and young people to quickly find out who else is working with the same child, making it easier to deliver more coordinated support. There are now only two layers to the Notice:
1) A Summary (layer 1) that is a one page summary sheet that all schools need to send to parents and pupils during the Autumn Term
2) The Full version (layer 2) that contains further detailed information about the processing of pupil's personal data
