It can sometimes be difficult to think of new ideas to keep youngsters entertained on a free day, yet there are plenty of activities to keep them occupied in Warwickshire; such as children's farms where children can hand-feed the animals, indoor soft play arenas, or even mazes made entirely out of plants to explore!

Play Barns and Craft Centres
Bungos Play Barn - A massive indoor soft play-barn for under 12's in Bidford on Avon just outside Stratford upon Avon.
Clown In Around, Southam - Multi level soft play centre with a silver award
Hatton Country World - Hatton Farm Village is full of different activities such as Guinea Pig Village, Adventure Land and much more. Situated just west of Warwick.
Hoar Park - This amazing craft and antique centre near Coleshill also has a children's farm, so both adults and kids have something to do.
Jam Jam Boomerang play and party place - Coventry's Biggest Indoor Play and Party place for children up to 12 years of age, with a separate area for babies and under 4s.
Potter In Ceramic Painting - Paint handmade pottery in this Leamington Spa based craft shop.
The Adventure Zone - New centre in Rugby offering a large indoor play centre, seperate toddler area and a 3-tier play system for the older children. Lots to do for both adults and children.

Children's Farms
Ash End House Children's Farm - Family owned farm in Middleton, North Warwickshire, offering a hands-on experience for children.
Broomey Croft Children's Farm - Award winning family-run farm where children can feed the animals and take a ride in a tractor trailer.
Garden Organic Ryton - Large organic gardens based in Coventry that has trails for children and interactive and educational games that let children learn about plants.
Hatton Country World - Allsorts for children to do, including toy-tractor racing, guinea pig feeding and much more.
Hoar Park - This amazing craft and antique centre also has a children's farm, so both adults and kids have something to do.
Plantasia - Featuring Maze World, Wild Walk, and Plantasia itself. All about making plants fun!
Redwings Rescue Centre - A rescue centre for horses and equine animals. Feed the ponies and have a stroke of their long manes.
Stratford Butterfly Farm, Stratford-upon-Avon - Stroll through exotic rainforest and see hundreds of spectacular butterflies, as well as Insect City, and Arachnoland.
Twycross Zoo - A large zoo housing many different types of animals from cheeky monkeys to hungry lions.
Umberslade Farm - A children's farm where visitors can get plenty of hands-on experience with the animals. |

Warwickshire has a total of six country parks, as well as three greenways and a nature reserve. All are within easy reach and offer loads to do for children!
Each park has a busy calendar of children's activities, such as bug hunting, lantern making, face painting and lots lots more.
