Race Equality - Study Visit Course
The Gambia
TIDE (Teachers in International Development) are seeking applications from teachers across the West Midlands for a study visit to The Gambia which will take place in February 2005. The closing date for applications is 8th September 2004.
Why The Gambia
The Gambia is one of the ten countries considered most at risk from climate change. This course follows previous successful study visits between 1998 and 2004, which have developed a strong partnership between Tide and the Country's National Environment Agency.
The Course
The course will include preparatory meetings and a residential in Hertfordshire, and following the visit to Gambia, two follow-on sessions.
