Arson Risk Reduction
Warwickshire's Fire and Rescue Services scheme to reduce arson is by way of partnerships between the Fire Service, Warwickshire Police and the 5 District/Borough Councils. The arson reduction team is led by Station Manager Ian Tonner, Support Officer Linda Suddards and Police Constable Craig Fellows.
Craig Fellows is the Environmental Crime Officer, who will carry out detailed analysis of trends and patterns for the county. The service has a dedicated fire investigation team of six officers who carry out comprehensive arson scene investigation
Arson is the largest single cause of major fires in the united kingdom currently costing an estimated £2.2 billion a year, which equates to £44 million every week. This causes loss of life, hardship, injury and distress to all victims of arson and arson related incidents.
