Carnegie Award News....

The 2011 Carnegie Medal has been awarded to Patrick Ness for his novel Monsters of Men, but Warwickshire schools choose their own winner in Jason Wallace for his debut novel Out of Shadows, who was pleased to hear the news. "I'm always thrilled when I hear that Out of Shadows has been enjoyed, so the last year has certainly been quite a ride for me. And to hear that Warwickshire has picked me as overall winner... well, that means more than receiving a physical award."
