Carnegie & Greenaway medals

Winner to be announced on June 25th

Our dedicated professional staff have close links with literacy advisors and offer expertise, advice and training to teachers, librarians and other school staff.

We offer a programme of activities that aim to develop pupils as enthusiastic and knowledgeable readers, including author visits, book week support, student librarian courses and shadowing of national and local book awards.

We provide a range of fiction and non-fiction resource loans to children across the age range and are currently developing a collection of artefacts.

Warwickshire Secondary Schools Book Award is now into its fourth year and has an exciting selection of new titles from the past year on the shortlist. Former winners of the Award are 'Wolf Brother' by Michelle Paver, 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief' by Rick Riordan and 'Skullduggery Pleasant' by Derek Landy.

The votes for this year have now been counted and the winner was announced at the Bridgehouse Theatre on 23rd March.
