Project Transform - Working in Partnership

Project Transform is a Partnership between:

Coventry City Council

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council

Warwickshire County Council

In addition to the three lead authorities, Project Transform also involves the five district and borough council’s in Warwickshire:

North Warwickshire Borough Council
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council
Rugby Borough Council
Stratford-on-Avon District Council
Warwick District Council

Both Coventry City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council are Unitary Authorities and therefore are responsible for both the collection and treatment of waste and recyclable materials.

Warwickshire County Council operates in a two-tier environment where the district and borough councils are responsible for collecting waste and recyclable materials whereas the county council is responsible for disposing or treating the waste collected. The county is also responsible for the operation of household waste recycling centres.
