Warwick Parkway Train Station
By Rail

The region is well served by rail with trains departing from Birmingham and Coventry to London approximately every 15 minutes. Coventry station is situated on the busiest intercity line in the country, taking 65 minutes from Coventry to London.
Both the intercity rail service from Coventry and the local train network to each main Warwickshire town provide efficient, speedy commuter services. Once in London, you can take the Eurostar directly to Paris and Brussels.

The County’s rail facilities have been enhanced by the opening of Warwick Parkway. This is an out of town station with 450 car parking spaces. Its location provides easy access from the M40 and A46, as well as Warwick, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth. The Station operates two trains per hour to London with a journey time of 100-120 minutes and two trains per hour to Birmingham Snow Hill, taking 30-45 minutes.

By Freight

Network Rail has, in consultation with its customers, developed a package of infrastructure improvements which would upgrade rail freight links via the Hams Hall National Distribution Park (North Warwickshire) and nearby DIRFT (Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal). The Hams Hall site in Warwickshire is the Midlands Channel Tunnel Rail Freight Terminal – now fully operational and run by Parsec, the world leader in terminal operation, development and management. Rail freight terminals are also under development at Birch Coppice Business Park, North Warwickshire and Prologis Park, Coventry.

By Air

Airports in Birmingham, Manchester and East Midlands offer daily flights to all European capitals, as well as direct services to the USA, the Far East, Middle East, Africa and Australia. Coventry airport now offers low cost flights to 15 European destinations with the
airline Thomsonfly – great for both business and pleasure! Further growth in activities is expected in both Coventry Airport and Birmingham International Airport in the near future.

London’s 3 major airports can be reached from Warwickshire in door to door motorway driving or via express airlinks from Birmingham International Airport. Manchester Airport is also within easy reach, as is the nearby East Midlands Airport which provides both passenger and freight flights.
