Mailing Preference Service
The Mailing Preference Service (MPS) is a non profit organisation whose main objective is to encourage good relations between the Direct Mail industry and the general public.
The MPS is funded by the Direct Mail industry to enable consumers to have their names and home addresses in the UK removed from lists used by the industry for advertising. It is actively supported by the Royal Mail and The Direct Marketing Association and fully supported by the Information Commissioner. They can remove your name from up to 95% of Direct Mail lists. It may take a few months but you will see a noticeable difference in the post you receive.
When the Mailing Preference Service receive your reigstration form, all their licensed Direct Mail users will be notifitied of your choice not to receive direct mail.
