The Minerals & Waste Development Framework has often been described as a folder of documents. Some of these documents relate specifically to the land-use planning of a particular area, covering a wide range of subjects e.g. houses, employment sites, shops, waste, minerals etc. At the County Council we only produce plans relating to minerals and waste. The District and Borough Councils are responsible for planning the location of future housing, employment sites, shops etc.
In addition to producing planning documents (e.g. Minerals Development Framework and Waste Development Framework) we also produce documents that relate to when and how these framework documents will be produced.
