| Minerals & Waste Development Framework The Minerals & Waste Development Framework has often been described as a folder of documents. Some of these documents relate specifically to the land-use planning of a particular area, covering a wide range of subjects e.g. houses, employment sites, shops, waste, minerals etc. At the County Council we only produce plans relating to minerals and waste. The District and Borough Councils are responsible for planning the location of future housing, employment sites, shops etc. In addition to producing development plan documents (e.g. Minerals Development Framework and Waste Development Framework) we also produce documents that relate to when and how these development plan documents will be produced. |
The Minerals and Waste Development Scheme (MWDS) sets out when we will be producing new plans and policies over the next three years. |
The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) explains how we will involve you in the process of drawing up these development plan documents. |
