Warwickshire Climate Change Action Plan

The action plan has been developed through a process of consultation with a wide range of organisations across Warwickshire and the Warwickshire Climate Change Partnership Steering Group.

The leads from each of the projects are invited to join the Warwickshire Climate Change Partnership Steering Group, which meets quarterly.

The action plan covers a range of projects in the five key areas: energy, transport, resource efficiency, adaptation, communications and education.

We would also like to know about any community projects to reduce emissions or adapt to climate changes / flooding impacts and any project in agriculture, horticulture, sustainable construction or biodiversity.

The Action Plan is very much a working document and is regularly updated with new projects and initiatives. If you want to give an update of your Warwickshire project please fill in this update form (Excel 25 KB) and send it to us at climatechange@warwickshire.gov.uk Please tell us which council area your project is delivered from, either: North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Rugby, Warwick or Stratford.
For the latest updates, please see the minutes of previous steering group meetings. If you would like to develop a partnership climate change project, then this blank project plan (286 KB) may help you think about all the issues.

Following the financial settlement for Local Government from April 2011 onwards, work on the Climate Change Partnership has been scaled back. No new activities are taking place, however historical information remains for reference and limited support may be able to be provided by emailing climatechange@warwickshire.gov.uk
