Traffic Management - Updated 30 November 2009
Due to the continuing poor injury accident record at the roundabout, there are two traffic management layouts through out the construction phase of this project. The day time traffic management, also referred to as Peak Periods (0600 to 2000 Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1800 Saturday and Sunday) and night time traffic management, also referred to as Off-peak Periods (2000 to 0600 Monday to Sunday).
| Day Time During the day time, there are no reductions in the number of lanes leading to the roundabout in order to minimise disruption. However, the entry lanes to the gyratory on the A444 (M6-J3), St. Davids Way, A444 (Nuneaton), B4113 Coventry Road (Hill Top) and B4113 Coventry Road (Bedworth) are reduced to two lanes. Two running lanes are maintained on the gyratory with the exception of one section at the B4113 Coventry Road (Bedworth). When more lanes are required to be coned off, then it shall take place outside day times. The minimum number of lanes required during the day time hours are given in the table below. Also see traffic management plan for day time hours of work. | ![]() | |||||||||||||||||||
