Participation- case studies of local good practice
This section describes some local case studies of good practice that involve children, young people & parents/carers. They are described in brief detail to give a flavour of what is possible. Please contact each particular project if you require additional information on the activities they may have used or help with setting it up within your own organisation or project.
Service Planning and Consultation
The listed examples are most relevant to larger organisations and agencies who wish to consult with children, young people and parents/carers about their overall policies or possible decisions, or to gain feedback about the services they provide. They all bring together groups for the agencies to “use” as consultative groups. The method by which groups are brought together is how they vary.
