UnLtd Millennium Awards

UnLtd Millennium Awards are funded by the income from a legacy of £100 million granted by the Millennium Commision. People of all ages, backgrounds and abilities from all parts of the United Kingdom can apply.
Unltd Millennium Awards are for people over the age of 16, applying as an individual or as an informal group, who have an idea to deliver a projects which will benefit their community. There are two levels of award: Level One - from £500 - £5,000 (averaging £2,000) to help get the project off the ground and Level Two - £10,000 - £20,000 (averaging £15,000) for those who have already developed a project and wish to devote more time to it. Grants from £250 up to £5,000 for individuals, and small groups of young people, aged 11 to 25 years. Projects should help them contribute to their community or help to set up small businesses. NESTA
National Endowment for Science, Technology & the Arts
Supported by endowed funds of over £300m from the National Lottery. NESTA can help individuals or micro–businesses to develop ideas at a very early stage.
