Citizens' Panel Wave 27 - was carried out in March 2008 it covered two high profile issues, 'Climate Change and the Energy we Use' and 'Crime and Community Safety'.

This survey was divided into two and covered questions on:-
  • Renewable energy and climate change
  • Antisocial behaviour, Road Safety, Crime and the Fire and Rescue service

Of the 1031 members of the Citizen’s Panel, 567 completed questionnaires were returned, this is a 55% response rate.

Maroon Bullet88% of respondents believed that 'the UK government and other politicians are right to take the issue of climate change and its impacts so seriously.



Maroon Bullet76% of respondents were concerned about the effects of climate change on their life and 89% on the lives of their children.





Maroon BulletSpeeding traffic appears to be the issue that causes a problem to most respondents. We work very closely with the Police on speeding issues and provide funding to the Police for safety cameras.
