	Schools can address transport issues through the Eco-schools Programme:



	Warwickshire County Council's Sustainable Travel Team provides advice and support to all local schools writing or considering writing a School Travel Plan.

	Defra Factsheets - Transport Defra factsheets covering road traffic; fuel types and emissions; impacts of road transport; other modes of transport; reducing emissions; alternative fuels; reducing the need to travel; make travelling by car less attractive; land use planning and transport.

	Manage Energy homepage The European Commission's website for energy and transport education, includes ManagEnergy Kids corner (interactive animation) for ages 7-11 years and 12-16 years. Available in various European languages; also includes teachers' information and downloadable colouring-in sheets.

	Friends of the Earth - climate change resources Friends of the Earth resources are available to download for free; includes information booklet on 'Transport: the way to go'.
